I'm going to give this blogging thing another try. Posting on Facebook and inciting a virtual riot over politics and vaccinations was mildly amusing and at time annoying... so I think I'll come here and voice my opinions and thoughts in a space that isn't limited by formatting or management
I'll introduce myself for those who have never heard of me:
I'm Rob - both an old soul and an eternal youth trapped in one shell, conflicted in every way. I am an engineer and manager by day, but in my own time I enjoy leisure time with my family which consists of three boys, a spouse and an au pair; I enjoy writing/composing and recording music of which I have four albums in publication, and several yet to be published; I enjoy building guitars/basses/mandolins and try my hand at various combination of things - I have yet to open my online shop though. I like writing and voicing my opinions, discussing and reading about astrophysics and geology - volcanism and earthquakes in particular, researching about warp travel (either warping the gravity/time fabric or finding ways to propel ships to near light speed), and just being a goofball telling dad jokes.
I plan on using this space to voice my thoughts in an organized and coherent manner, writing about an assortment of topics that covers anything which captures my attention for any length of time. I don't claim to be an expert in any given topic but I hope that potentially this might open discussion with people who like me believe that the more that you learn, the more you realize there is so much yet to learn.
